YRC Freight Adds to Management Team

When searching for truck driving jobs in the USA, among many names YRC Freight will be in the top. YRC Freight has been a leading transporter of commercial, industrial and retail goods since its establishment in 1924. The company is best known for its LTL (less than a truckload) shipping solutions across North America, providing a full-service network, proactive customer services and advanced information technologies. Recently, the company made headlines in all new platforms when it announced its decision to add more senior executives in its management to further up their services and processes. These new additions to the management team includes executives from FedEx Freight and Con-way freight who are bringing along themselves 80+ years of combined experience to the company.

The first new entrant is Chet Richardson, who is a former Con-way Freight employee with 31 years of experience in the LTL industry. Chet will be named the Vice president of transportation here in YRC. Chet has served as a service centre manager, Director and president of Linehaul as well as the Region Manager.

The other new entrant is Don Hinkle who will be handling the affairs of the Equipment Services as its Vice President. Hinkle has an experience of 23 years with terminal operations including fleet management. Hinkle was a former YRC employee and retuned back to his roots after serving FedEx for 13 years. During his time there, he held important positions like Vice President of Fleet Maintenance, Vice President of Transportation and Safety and Transportation.

Not to mention, the company recently named Tim Haitz as the new Senior Vice president of Sales and Marketing. Only 30-years-old, Haitz has served the company with his exceptional role in sales, and has been the prior Vice President of Sales. His prior designations at YRC included Corporate Accounts Executive, Vice President of Sales and Terminal Manager. Haitz was offered the position after the 30 year veteran Bill Crown announced his early retirement from the company.

Darren Hawking, the president of YRC believes that these valuable additions in the YRC management team will serve as a symbol of momentum that company aspires to gain anal also as a testament of the quality of impetus who are reaching out to join YRC.
