Great American Trucking Show Returns to Dallas
The Great American Trucking Show is a well-known event in the trucking industry. This special occasion which is set up by Randall-Reilly features plenty of companies, shows off new products, and can even be a great resource for those seeking work in the freight transportation and delivery industry. After a very successful event last year, The Great American Trucking Show will return to the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center in Dallas, Texas. But the event will not be a repeat of last year – while all the familiar functions will be present, a number of new experiences will be available as well.
Stacy McCants, Randall-Reilly’s vice president of events said: “This year we really wanted to make sure that the Great American Trucking Show focused on overall improvement and growth of the trucking industry. With free health screenings, an extensive job fair, a new hands-on demo area, and many educational seminars, we wanted the focus of this show to be about providing practical value to our attendees. Other than fulfilling day to day job tasks, this is the most productive thing that you could do with your time. GATS is committed to making trucking better.”
Making a return to the convention will be The Landstar Fit for the Road Health and Wellness Pavilion. Accuscreen will also be at this year’s show, offering DOT physical for a discounted rate of $55. A number of educational materials will also be provided to help those in attendance understand the new guidelines of the trucking industry. Panels and conferences will be available for fleet owners, owner-operators, and even to military veterans looking to enter (or further their position) in the industry.
Concerts, new products, and informative sessions will all be featured at this year’s show. Those who are interested in the convention may visit www.truckshow.com for information and tickets.
